Add a card to the wallet
How your customers get the stamp card onto their phone without an app download or an account. Scan the QR code, tap Add. Works with Android too.
For your customers, the stamp card isn’t an app to download or an account to set up. It’s a regular wallet pass, just like a boarding pass or a ticket they already carry around.
How the card lands on their phone
- Your customer scans the QR code at your counter with their phone’s camera.
- They tap “Add”.
- The card is sitting in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Done.
Good to know
- No download, no account, no email address. The card works exactly like any other pass already sitting in their wallet.
- This holds true on Android as well. The Treuly app for businesses currently runs on iPhone only, but that only affects you: your customers aren’t tied to a particular phone. On Android, the card lands in Google Wallet instead.
- Your customers stay anonymous. The stamp card needs no email and no profile from them; at its core, all that’s stored is the stamp count.
- The card updates itself after every stamp; your customer doesn’t have to open or refresh anything for that.
